Transitioning into AW14

Happy Bank Holiday guys! Hope you've all been thoroughly drunk and ate too much, thats what bank holidays are for right? Well I've been working my bum off at the bar I work, Barcode, making sure everyone is having the best bank holiday possible! I'm absolutely exhausted today though, so I'm lounging on the sofa with endless cups of tea and junk food and films while writing this post.

Anyway, this outfit, WOW! As if I wasn't already the luckiest girl to be invited to Fearne Cotton's launch party, I was also lucky enough to receive a piece from her collection. I chose the trouser and kimono two piece because I think it's just the perfect transitional piece as we go from summer to autumn, which by the way is happening a little too quickly for my liking!

I styled the set with a simple white crop top and my new Fablou bag which I absolutely love! It's a great size, style and material! Girls it also comes in a variety of colours AND they are presenting their new AW14 range at London Fashion Week, so yes they are a big deal! Now the shoes. Yes they are silver and yes they are a bit 'out there' as my best friend would say BUT they are just so amazing and super easy to style, I have a feeling I will be living in them this season. I also got them in black too, oops, shoe addict right here!

I'm absolutely loving this look, so a massive thank you to the lovelies at Lee Publicity for the Fearne two piece and to Andrew at Fablou for my bag!

Give us a twirl

The lovely people at Vesper really spoilt me, not only was I gifted my gorgeous mint two piece, I was also sent this beautiful paisley skater dress. Online and even when I opened it I thought it to be black and white, but when I was shooting the dress I found it to be a dark navy colour. Either way it's stunning. Do you remember me saying that Coast is a great brand for occasion wear? Well Vesper, for me, is up there with Coast. I think their collection is perfect for special events such as weddings, christenings or a day at the races. I can imagine this dress being a perfect ensemble for an autumn wedding. Definitely check them out!

I kept it really simple for this shoot and let the dress do all the talking. I just paired it with white pointed court shoes to emphasise the white detail in the dress.

3 ways to wear the Vesper two piece #3

Finally, the last of the three posts featuring the Vesper two piece, focuses on styling the skirt without the top.

Now when it came to styling the skirt I had many options, I thought of wearing a white chiffon shirt tucked in partly at the front for a smart yet relaxed look, but decided to wear my bargain sleeveless jumper from the Zara sale with it. The high neck and sleeveless look goes great with the skirt and the fact it's black makes the colours and the detail in the skirt really pop! I wore my trusty black strappy heels and my Olivia Burton watch again to complete the outfit.
