A Hint of Grunge

Once again I feel as if I've neglected my blog for a week or so! Not on purpose, in my defence I've just been super busy and had no time to shoot any pics. Well finally, I found time!

I've wanted to blog this dress for a while now, its my fave at the moment. The shift style is super flattering, the length is perfect and I love that it has a slight v-shaped neck line! I spoke about my love for the colour oxeblood a couple of posts ago and this dress just enhances that love even further!

I styled it with my new lightweight, long-length black blazer which was kindly sent to me by the lovely Robyn from Missguided. It is basically a super thin duster coat, but I am living in it! It looks AMAZING with a pair of jeans as well.

I then wore my new chelsea boots which I'm also living in! These were sent to me from Deichmann, you may have seen them advertised on the TV? They are a great shoe brand offering plenty of stylish shoes ranging from heels, flats or boots! They are also running a competition at the moment where you can be in the chance to win a trip to Milan for two! All you have to do is post a pic on your Instagram of you wearing your Deichmann footwear and hashtag #ADayInMyDeichmanns. Fingers crossed I win, what a dream?!

Finally I wore my trusty fedora and my fave chokers!

The Comfy Hype

I don't see the appeal for a girl to be dressed up to the nines everyday and I personally love a good pair of trainers and oversized tee or jumper. It feels so much more comfortable!

So this post may seem a little 'lost' from my normal outfit posts but honestly I love mixing up the way I dress. I love trainers, I love heels, I love wearing beautiful dresses and I love wearing ripped jeans. I understand people have style, but it doesn't mean you can't explore others at the same time, right?

Here I'm wearing my white joni jeans and new Nike Air Force 1 trainers, (which I haven't taken off), with my beautiful Hype t-shirt. I was lucky enough to be sent this lovely top from the wonderful people at Hype. There was so much to choose from but this top just stood out to me. I mean look at the colours, the tropical trend is still close to my heart even though we are shifting into aw14. They offer some really relaxed pieces, great t-shirt dresses and some incredible bodysuits! I would definitely recommend you take a look!

Oxeblood Loving

Sorry about my slight delay with posts, apparently not enough is wrong with my life at the moment, so I now have what the doctors 'guess' is a kidney infection. Brill.

So I'm getting a little addicted to Missguided and their fabulously low prices. I bought this dress for a night out with the girls but I stupidly forgot to order Saturday delivery so it didn't come in time. However I still thought it was worth a blog as the fit is great and the colours are stunning! Oxeblood is one of my fave colours for aw14, (I have another dress in the same colour to blog soon).

I was going to style it with a white duster but felt like it was too scientist/doctor-esque, so I shot it with my trusty lace kimono, black fedora and white lenkas. Yes, yes I know I'm wearing my lenkas again but seriously they just go with everything! I promise they aren't featuring in my next post!
